Speed of Sight is a Manchester-based charitable organisation offering driving experiences to blind and disabled children and adults. It is run by ‘Superhuman Rob Newman’, a truly inspirational man who didn’t let the fact that he was born blind stand in the way of his dream to become a racing driver, and who is now a 9 times world record holder and the fastest blind man on the planet on land and water!
Alan has a significant visual impairment and is registered blind. He was initially nervous, but once he got started he absolutely loved his driving experience and has already asked to do it again!
